Top 5 Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Your Family in 2021

Still in the midst of quarantine, our family and friends are at home and parades are cancelled throughout Long Island. Although St. Patrick’s Day events are cancelled, that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate! To get together with your family and enjoy down time, our team at Law Offices of Joshua Adam Kittenplan developed a list of 5 ways that you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year.

1. Cook an Irish Meal

Whether you’re home by yourself, with a loved one, or feeding your entire family, you can’t pass up an authentic Irish meal like corned beef and cabbage! Grab the kids to pitch in and make the most out of cooking at home. Better Homes & Garden shared a great list of fresh recipes for St. Patrick’s Day dinner. Oh and don’t forget about the Irish soda bread!

2. Celebrating with Young Kids? Create Themed Crafts!

Keeping the kids busy while quarantined at home can be challenging. Why not prepare a few St. Patrick’s Day themed crafts for them? From leprechaun traps to coloring print outs, glitter shamrock’s and more! Snap a photo of your themed creations and share with our staff by tagging @kittenplanlaw on Instagram! We look forward to seeing how you celebrated!

3. Adults Only… Cheers with a Drink!

Now that the kids are busy crafting, it is time to treat yourself with a themed drink. Are you a beer drinker? How about turning your beer GREEN! Otherwise, we have some lovely St. Patrick’s Day cocktails or even non-alcoholic drinks. Whichever you choose, we hope you cheers and enjoy!

4. Binge Watch Irish Movies

Just like a majority of us have been doing throughout quarantine, cozy up on the couch and press play on any of these Irish movies. Now this will keep the family quiet for the night!

5. Dress Up and Wear Green!

Working from home? Or still heading into work? Either way, there is no reason not to wear green and dress up for St. Patrick’s Day! The world could use a little more spirit these days so why not check out these green outfit ideas for every occasion!

Overall, the Law Offices of Joshua Adam Kittenplan, located in Commack, wishes you and your family a happy St. Patrick’s Day. We understand that being quarantined at home can be overwhelming but we encourage you to find things that bring you and your loved ones joy.
